Scott’s Trial Transformation

I am always looking to test out different ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle, not just with exercise but with a continued focus on diet.

I always try to eat quality whole foods and exercise when I can. I would say I have a healthy diet but being a personal trainer sometimes finding the time to actually exercise and then refuel properly is tougher than you think. After training say five clients in a row in the morning the last thing I want to do is do more exercise myself. Sounds bad but its true!!!

So in the spring 2017 I decided to get myself into a fitness routine and eating properly again. My main goals was to not lose weight but to replace some fat with muscle, look stronger and feel more energised. Lots of people would say I didn’t need to loose weight and I agree I don’t and that why I say replace fat with muscle.

It has been one of the best things I could have done, not only do I feel and hopefully from the pictures below you will see look better but I have gained lots of experience on how to exercise and eat healthy which I can now pass on to my clients.

I am continuing with the training, I don’t do huge amounts but I will exercise intensely for say 20 minutes a day, 4-5 times a week. I will train myself using a HIIT (high intensity interval training) using mainly dumbbells and a floor mat.

You can try this style of training out at any of my hiit style circuit training.
