Welcome to the Core Fitness Training Club, located in the heart of Chalfont St Peter.
Our brand new personal training facility will be opening soon. We are busy setting up, ready to welcome you as soon as we can.
We are also busy building our new website where you will be able to find out more information on everything we offer, as well as being able to view our personal training calendars and class timetable. You will then be able to create a members log in, and be able to book yourself onto sessions and classes directly through the website.
Our personal training facility will be open Monday – Friday 6:30am – 9pm, Saturdays 7am – 5pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm. We will run appointment only personal training sessions, as well as couple training and small group training. We will also run kids and teen specific training sessions all from our base in the village.
We are taking bookings now for when we open so please get in touch if you are be interested.
The club has recently had a major refit and will be full of brand new specific exercise equipment. Head coach will be Scott Merrilees who has been a Chalfont St Peter resident since 1990. You may know Scott and his wife Lucy as they set up Core Fitness in 2009 and have been working in and around the village since.
Scott has been a personal trainer for over thirteen years and has been personal training clients from his home for the past ten years. Together they also run a large selection of group exercise classes from the Chalfonts Community College most days of the week. Lucy has taken a break from training for now as they have three young children. Rory 8, Iris 5 and Ruby at 6 months, but will be back working from the club soon.
The club in the village will be the main hub linking our personal training services together with the group circuit training classes at the school. You will be able to book a personal training session at the studio with Scott or one of our trainers, book onto a small group training session, book your kids / teenagers onto a specific group workout or book to speak to our resident nutritionist who will be on hand to offer nutritional support. You will also be able to purchase any specific fitness related equipment from us and are able to see the products being used before you buy.
Personal training costs from our brand new studio will be around £55 – £60 per session. We include a circuit training package in this price and an online members log in where you will be able to access a library of features to help you on your fitness journey. Please enquire to find out more information as we like to speak to you and get to know you a bit more before we book your first session.
We will continue to run all our circuit training group workouts outside during the summer time. For the short term, sessions will be held at Gold Hill Common every Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 7pm – 8pm. Saturday 9am-10am. Your first class is free, everyone is welcome including children. We don’t charge your children when they come and exercise with you.

We will also be running our small group personal training sessions from the common at 8pm-9pm. Please enquire to check availability. Sessions are weekly and cost £62 per month.
After the summer we will the move the circuit sessions back to the Chalfonts Community College and the small group sessions back to the club.
Please give us a wave if you see us in the club when passing as we continue with setting up. Eventually, the front glass with be partially frosted so when training inside you will have privacy. We have also recently had air conditioning installed meaning for a more comfortable workout. All of our fitness equipment will be brand new and specifically chosen by Scott.
